STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE


1. Our Agreement
These terms apply to all orders placed with MODUFIX. By placing an order, you agree to these conditions. Any variations must be expressly agreed upon in writing by us in advance.

2. Payment Terms

  • Online Orders: For purchases made on our website, payment is required in full at checkout. Orders will not be processed or dispatched until payment is confirmed.

  • Pro-forma: For offline or manual orders, payment must be received in full before goods are dispatched, unless a credit account is in place.

  • Credit Accounts: For customers with an approved credit account, terms are 14 days from the invoice date.

  • Late Payment: We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with UK statutory law.

3. Delivery & Claims
We aim to dispatch hardware immediately upon receipt of cleared funds. Please inspect your delivery upon arrival.

  • Any claims for shortages or damaged goods must be reported to us in writing within 3 working days.

  • Delivery dates are estimates; MODUFIX is not liable for indirect losses caused by shipping delays.

4. Returns
We want you to be happy with your purchase. Returns must be authorised by us in advance. Items must be in their original, unused condition. Please note that a restocking fee may apply for non-defective returns. These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

5. Liability
Our goal is to provide high-quality engineering components. Our liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied (replacement or refund). We cannot be held responsible for third-party claims or consequential damages.

6. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the English courts.

7. Retention of Title
Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery, but legal ownership of the goods remains with MODUFIX and shall not pass to the customer until we have received payment in full for the goods and all other sums which are due to us.
